Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku) is a major new bus terminal in Shinjuku. It is the biggest terminal in Tokyo. This is a perfect guide with a floor map of facilities, bus stop and so on.

Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku) is a major new bus terminal in Shinjuku.
It is the biggest terminal in Tokyo. It's located on the south side of Shinjuku Station, in the shopping mall called NEWoMan.

This is a perfect guide with a floor map of facilities, bus stop and so on.

Free wi-fi can be used in the waiting room. The nearest smoking place is near NEWoMan.

1:There is a waiting room, an information counter, and bench. There is an information counter that gives guidance to users in the waiting room.

Also, you can take a break on a bench made of wood grain while you are waiting, it has 178 seats and is barrier-free.
There is also free wifi in the waiting room. However, it is sometimes crowded when it is near peak time. Instead, you still have a way to spend free time in NEWoMan, next to the terminal.

The Information counter is near the Yoyogi entrance. Japanese and English is in available for help, but not Chinese.

There is a vending machine for drinks at the entrance (or what). There is also a Seven Bank ATM is in a waiting room.

But please know that Busta Shinjuku is a non smoking area. The nearest smoking area is near NEWoMan. You can go directly there from the 4th floor of Busta Shinjuku.

Bringing in pets and bicycles are also forbidden. You should also check for other prohibitions in the bus terminal.

2:The ticket counter and automatic ticket kiosk is in the center of the waiting room, there is also a ticket counter on the left and right.

3:Toilet (in waiting room)

The waiting room toilet is in the back of the aisle on the left side facing the ticketing counter. There is only one multifunction women's toilet available there, so you may have to wait.

There are also 2 large single room toilets so that even if you have a big baggage, it is easy to enter.

4:Toilet (next to the entrance)

There is a toilet next to the entrance on the Yoyogi side, as well. There is one multi-function toilet. If the toilet in a waiting room is crowded, you still have the option to use the JR Shinjuku station and NEWoMan’s toilet.

All of the bathroom construction will be completed in June 2017.

There are two other toilets in the waiting room. One is on the Koshu Highway side and the other is on the Yoyogi side were added due to lack of girls’ bathrooms when it becomes crowded.

The toilet in the waiting room on the Koshu-kaido side (National Highway No. 20 side) was changed from 4 rooms to 11 rooms, and the powder corner from 4 to 7, and the sinks from 4 to 6 units. In addition, two dressing rooms are newly established. Int the men's case, the bathrooms were increased from 3 to 5 private toilets.

In the girls’ bathrooms next to the entrance on the Yoyogi side, the number of private rooms has changed from 4 to 10 rooms, so the overcrowding problem was solved to a certain extent.

Here, bus stops are color-coded depending on departure direction. There are three stations, A1, A2 and A3. It is the main departure areas are for Tohoku way · Joban way, East Kanto · Aqua line, Haneda airport and Narita airport, for short-distance flight.

There is a light bulletin board at each bus stop, and that helps you to be able to check the departure flights.

You should be careful that you can not go to the B, C, D area from the area A area.

Please note, that you can not go to the B, C, D area from the area A and the Also be aware that the departure direction of each bus terminal may change. Please check the information to use the light bulletin board in the waiting room and so on before getting on.

There are three places: B4, B5, B6. It is mainly used for buses to Tomei, and Chuo way.

The green C area is accessed from the exit on the left side towards the waiting counter. There are three stations, C7, C8 and C9. It is mainly used for buses to the Kanegoshi area.

8:Bus stop D area departure bus company list(Japanese)

2.The purple D area connects to the C area and is on the opposite side of the waiting room. There are three places: D10, D11, D12. It is mainly used for buses to the Kansai / Hokuriku area.

9:Elevator (bus stop side)

There are three elevators connected directly to the bus terminal. Both of them have access to the JR trolley on the 2nd floor, and the taxi stands on the 3rd floor.

10:Elevator (Miraina Tower side)

There is one elevator connected directly to the waiting room. You can also access the 6th floor, 7th floor, the event floor "Lumine0(zero)" on the 5th floor, on the JR ticket gate on the 2nd floor, the taxi stand on the 3rd floor. Some are connected to adjacent Neumann, and clinics and dispensing pharmacies.

11:Escalator (JR Shinjuku Station Shinan ticket gate)

There are four escalators. This escalator is directly connected to JR Shinjuku station New South gate. It is a ticket gate of JR in less than 1 minute from the 4th-floor bus terminal.

Coin locker has 3 sizes! and three places on the 4th floor

A coin locker is in the aisle next to a convenience store. There are three coin lockers, large, medium and small, 142 in all. All 2 hours use, the large size is 300 yen, the medium size is 200 yen, small size is 100 yen.

The characteristic of Busta Shinjuku is that you can transfer to railway, taxi and express bus without stress.

When you get out from JR Shinjuku Station new south entrance, there is a guide board for the express bus

On the left side, there is an escalator that connects directly to the Bus Terminal on the 4th floor of Busta Shinjuku. It takes about 1 minute from the entrance of the station to the bus terminal.

Busta Shinjuku has a lot of care for a green environment!

Walking around Busta Shinjuku, you can see this in some places. It has consideration for the environment and the Southern Terrace side has a“green wall” as you can see. In part, it is planned to use a photocatalyst that has an effect of suppressing air pollution.

Convenience store list- (It takes 3 minutes on foot from Busta Shinjuku)

There are no convenience stores currently in Busta Shinjuku, so it is better to get things you need before getting on.

Just in case, I will introduce the convenience store that it takes 3 minutes on foot from Busta Shinjuku. When going straight from Shinjuku Station to Busta Shinjuku, Ekinaka "NewDays, KIOSK (Kiosk)" in the ticket gate is the nearest convenience store.
But, once you go out of the ticket gate, the entrance fee will be charged!
